Who We Are
Hi, my name is David Joy,
I walked into a kitchen 31 years ago to help a family friend and never left one since. From working in a 2 Rosette seafood restaurant in the south of Ireland looking out on the Atlantic ocean, to living in Spain where I met my wife and moved to the UK.
I’ve been fortunate to cook for many heads of state including some from the European Union to sporting stars and people from the entertainment industry, my favorites being; Rod Stewart, Boyzone, Westlife and many more!!!
I decided to form my own business in 2022 and named it after the greatest things in my life; my children. Me and my wife Kate strive to provide the best dining experience for each individual by sourcing local ingredients.
Our clients are at the heart of everything we do. We tailor our services to your needs, taking the time not just to curate an exceptional menu, but a dining experience set to exceed expectations.
We work closely with you to understand your dietary preferences, style, ambiance, and timelines which allows us to curate an offering that is truly unique. No request exceeds our capabilities thanks to the varied and highly skilled EdithJamesCatering team.
All staff members are hand selected according to you and your requirements, enabling us to carefully consider skill sets, personality and cuisine. Leaving no stone unturned.

Winding its way through 230 acres of gentle undulating Leicestershire countryside, Willesley Park Golf Club in Ashby de la Zouch is the stunning setting for one of the midlands’ premier golfing venues.

The Ashby Show is a one-day agricultural show organized by the Ashby de la Zouch Agricultural Society. It will take place at Cattows Farm in Leicestershire. The show is a celebration of local businesses, food, agriculture, and crafts, attracting visitors from the local area and beyond.
The show features a main ring with entertainment, a wide array of show classes (including horses, cattle, sheep, and small livestock), show jumping, scurries, shopping, and a vintage tractor display.
